Protecting Private and Confidential Information

During our work, we frequently have access to, create and use confidential information. A breach of our information systems or any other sort of unauthorized disclosure of Flex’s confidential or proprietary information can harm our company and our people, as well as weaken our competitive position.

We comply with all laws that protect the privacy and confidentiality of information. We take appropriate measures to manage and protect private and confidential information from unauthorized or improper access or use. This includes protecting customer or personal data that we may have access to.

We all play a role in safeguarding our information, always. We are the first line of defense against the inappropriate disclosure of confidential information in any form, including hard copy, electronic and verbal. Both during and after employment or when conducting business with Flex, we must protect private and confidential information, disclosing it only to those permitted to receive it. From creation to destruction, confidential information must be appropriately labeled and secured—including during transmission and storage—in all forms: hard copy, electronic and other.
