Zero Tolerance for Workplace Violence

Flex has zero tolerance for workplace violence, wherever we do business. We prohibit any behavior that is threatening or could cause physical harm to another person.

If you witness or experience an act of violence in the workplace, immediately contact local authorities (police) followed by local security. If you witness or experience a threat of violence, contact the local security team immediately. The workplace includes any Flex site, dormitory, transportation (buses) and/or company event.

Prohibited behaviors

Workplace violence encompasses physical assaults, threats of violence and intimidating behavior. Prohibited behaviors include but are not limited to:

  • Possession of weapons in the workplace, including in parking lots (subject to applicable local laws)
  • Verbal assaults
  • Threats and intimidation
  • Physical aggression
  • Stalking
  • Hazing

Threats of violence

Threats of violence can be verbal, nonverbal or physical. A threat of violence is defined as verbal and/or nonverbal intimidation where the victim perceives a threat of violence.
